SGS Graduation Ceremony 2016

Orphan Welfare Society and Saida Generation School celebrated the graduation of the KG3 and Grade 6 students in a large ceremony held at the OWS theater, in the presence of the President of OWS, Dr. Said Makkaoui, the students’ parents and the school team. 

In her speech, Mrs. Samar Hallak, the school principal, urged the students' parents to keep following up on their children’s matters and to continue to coordinate with the teachers at SGS in order to ensure that the graduates will keep achieving better results. In his turn, president of OWS, Dr. Said Makkaoui, pointed out the enhanced development of the academic level of both the school and the students. He also asked the parents to support their children in continuing their education beyond SGS. In addition, Dr. Makkaoui drew attention that students are now more willing to continue their academic education after Grade 6. 

The head of Kindergarten, Ms. Walaa Shameseddine, said that graduation day is the day when SGS celebrates its success after a long scholastic year full of activities. 

The students performed some celebratory dances and a sang a special song. Finally, certificates were distributed to the graduates
