Three Gold Medals for Special Needs

The president of Orphan Welfare Society- Saida, Dr. Said Makkaoui, honored the students of Ahmad Mosbah Bizri Center for Children with Special Needs after their comeback from Abdu Dhabi. The students participated in the 9th Regional Tournaments for Special Olympics (ME & North Africa) 2018 and won 3 gold medals.

Dr. Makkaoui, after distributing the gifts, noted the achievements of the team and their efforts during the trainings to achieve these results. Also, he noted the efforts of their trainers Najat Said and Samira Hajjar.

The student Sharif Al-Bitar won a gold medal for roller skating, Solin Badereddine for running, Rami El-Masri- Mahmoud Jalloul, Saleh Abdullah, Ibrahim Melhem, Mohammad Agha for ping-pong. The student Mohammad Koteish won the fifth rank for biking. Also, Nathalie Abou Zeinab was certified for her participation in Regional Youth Conference.

In addition, the head of Social Welfare Unit and the teacher Nathalie Abou Zeinab participated in Leaders Conference for Empowering the Youth Life Skills.

The team will participate next year in the World Special Olympics which will take place in Abou Dhabi too.
