The Ladies committee of Orphan Welfare Society organized their annual sohour at Dar Garden which embraced over 450 invitees and supporters from Saida and all Lebanese areas with the participation of PM. Mrs. Bahia Hariri. The proceeds of this sohour go to support the education of children with special needs at OWS.
Al-Suhoor started with a show for OWS’s children from the School for the Deaf and Saida Generation School who performed also “Khalina Maa Baad” a song composed by the artist Ahmed Kaabour especially for the OWS children.
Later, tombola gifts were distributed and the attendees enjoyed tasting the delicious food. Also, this was followed by a musical segment for the artist Adnan Najjar.
The president of OWS, Dr. Said Makkaoui, said :"This suhoor is part of the annual Ramadan campaign organized by the association, which includes daily meals for children inside and outside the dar and daily meals prepared by Al Dar kitchen and distributed to needy families, as well as donations from the philanthropists”.
And all expressed their happiness in the presence of Suhor, which became an annual Sidon occasion.
