Beneficiaries of the Department

The Residential Unit offers its welfare services to about 575 boys and girls aged between 3 and 18 years who are either orphans or come from broken families as well as children with special needs, aged between 6 and 20 years.

Mission

The Residential Unit at Orphan Welfare Society (OWS) aims to act as a temporary alternative family that ensures a safe environment for our children. It also aims to foster a positive difference in every child to help him become a confident independent human being who believes in his skills and abilities.

Objectives

• Ensure the resident children’s safety and protection on the principles of the Child’s Protection Policy.
• Create a safe psychological environment for the children.
• Promote a positive social environment, principles, and moral values.
• Develop the children’s life skills and independence through a meaningful leisure time program.
• Strengthening the role of the family.
